Adjusting the temperature
The temperature of the freezer is adjusted by means of the knob assembled on the thermostat. ”1, 2, 3, 4 & 7” do not represent a specific temperature.
The smaller the number the higher the temperature.
Position “7” is coldest temperature setting
Quick Freeze – By adjusting the temperatures setting to coldest – position 7
- Set a quick chill 6 hours before defrosting, to make sure the food is at the lowest temperature when you remove it for cleaning the freezer interior.
- For fast or quick freezing of large amounts of food in an upright or chest freezer.
- When freezing is completed, return the dial to the normal temperature setting.

Quick Freeze on/off icon - Indicates the status of the Quick Freeze function
Drinks Chill on/ off icon - Indicates the status of the Drinks Chill function
• Press the ‘Quick Freeze/Drinks Chill’ button. The Quick Freeze icon will flash indicating that the quick freeze is active. and the compressor will run continuously for 90 minutes.
• After 90 minutes the freezer will automatically return to normal mode.
• The Quick Freeze function can be cancelled anytime by pressing the button again. Use the “Drinks Chill” function when you need to chill drinks in the freezer compartment.
• Press and hold the ‘Quick Freeze’/Drinks Chill button for 3 seconds. The Drinks Chill icon will activate indicating that the Drinks Chill is active.
• An alarm will sound, and LED will flash after 15 mins.
• Drinks Chill can be cancelled at any time by pressing Drinks Chill again for 3 seconds. The time taken to chill depends on the size of your bottle.
• Do not leave the bottles inside the freezer longer than the time needed for chilling.
Freezing fresh food
Place fresh food to be frozen near the side walls to ensure fast freezing and away from already frozen food, if possible.
The quality of the food is best preserved when it is frozen right through to the centre as quickly as possible.
Take special care not to mix already frozen food and fresh food.
