The user interface will not respond to touch

Cannot change any settings

Solution

Sleep mode

To ensure settings are not accidentally changed the user interface will go into sleep mode when not in use.

- Check that the user interface is in awake mode, press any button to wake user interface

Lock mode

- Check that the user interface is not locked, To exit lock mode, press and hold the lock button for 3 seconds until the icon is no longer displayed.

While the refrigerator is in lock mode the other buttons on the control panel will not function, when the buttons are touched a chime will sound and the lock icon will flash.

Sabbath mode

Check that the user interface is not in Sabbath Mode, refer to control instructions. (I&W models only)

Check If the user interface is frozen - turn the appliance off­ for five minutes for the memory to clear, then turn back on.

Protective film

make sure any protective film has been removed, sometimes these are hard to detect pick at the edge and see if a film is still fitted these should be removed on first use
