Remote on handle not working on Electrolux cylinder cleaners
Issue
- The vacuum cleaner remote does not work, does not respond or does not start for the vacuum cleaner

Solution
1. First, make sure the battery indicator on the remote is lit when one of the buttons is pressed.
- If not, the battery may need to be replaced.
See how to replace the battery from the handle this is shown in the user manual.
2. If the LED symbol is lit when the button is pressed, the vacuum cleaner may need to be taken in for servicing.
Below examples of how to reprogram the remote control for your vacuum cleaner, depending on the model.
Example 1
1. Plug the power plug into the wall socket.
2. Before 20 sec. press the following buttons simultaneously, 1 + 3 + 4.
(this deletes the old programming)
3. Unplug and wait 6 sec.
4. Reconnect the power plug.
5. Before 20 sec. press the following buttons simultaneously, 1 + 3.
6. The remote control is now reset and the vacuum cleaner can be used normally again.

Example 2
1. Plug the power plug into the wall socket.
2. Before 20 sec. press the following buttons simultaneously, 1 + 4.(this deletes the old programming)
3. Unplug and wait for 3 sec.
4. Reconnect the power plug.
5. Before 20 sec. press the following buttons simultaneously, 1 + 3.
6. The remote control is now reset and the vacuum cleaner can be used normally again.
