Can I move the robotic vacuum cleaner charging station while it is working?
Issue
- Can I move the robotic vacuum cleaner charging station while it is working?
Applies to
- Robot Vacuum
Solution
1. Moving the charger while the robot is working is not recommended:
- If the robot needs recharging during the cleaning process, it will return to the charging base (the robot saves energy to get back to the most recent location of the charging station).
- If the charging station is not in the original place, the robot will start the "searching mode" to find the charging station. This takes time and the batteries can be depleted before the robot finds the charging station.
- This can affect the cleaning efficiency since the robot cannot recharge and finish the cleaning.
