The LED lighting not working or dim in my fridge-freezer
Issue
- The LED lighting not working
- LED lighting is dim in my fridge-freezer
Solution
LED Lighting
The LED lighting is designed to dim automatically if the door is left opened
for more than 5 minutes and turn off completely if the door is open for more
than 7 minutes. Closing the door will reset the timer.
The LED lighting is also designed to turn on gradually.
- Close and re-open the door. When door has been open for 5 minutes the lights fade to 50% then after 7 minutes they will turn off.
- Check that the user interface is not in Sabbath Mode
Sabbath Mode
Note: While in Sabbath Mode, neither the lights, dispenser, nor the control panel will
work until Sabbath Mode is deactivated.
When Sabbath mode is enabled, the ice maker will complete the cycle it had already initiated. The ice cube compartment will remain cold and new ice cubes can be made with standard trays.
- Refrigerator stays in Sabbath Mode after 'power failure' recovery. It must be deactivated with the buttons on the control panel.
- When sabbath mode has been enabled 'Sb' will show in the user interface display.
To enable/disable sabbath mode please refer to the instruction in the user manual for your particular model.
