Washing machine’s drain pump filter is jammed, cannot be removed

Issue

• Clogged washing machine filter
• Stuck drain filter
• The drain filter in the washing machine cannot be removed

Solution

The lint filters in our washing machines are firmly secured and tightened to provide effective protection against leaks.

• Deactivate the appliance and turn off and unplug at the electrical supply socket.
• Turn the filter 180 degrees in anti-clockwise direction to open it.

• If foreign objects get into the filter, the filter may become jammed.
• Try to use a tool (e.g. pliers) to loosen or remove the filter, but do not use too much force so as not to damage the plastic elements.
