"CLE" Appears on My Washing Machine Display

"CLE" Appears on washing machine display at the end of the cycle.

Solution

"CLE" appears on display every 60 wash cycles to remind customers to perform a Tub Cleaning cycle. This is a maintenance cycle to extend the life of washing machine and prevents build-up of mildew and odour in the machine. Tub cleaning cycle is available through the App on connected models. For Tub cleaning cycle no detergent or chemicals or clothes should be loaded. Once the Tub Cleaning cycle is completed the reminder notice will not appear at the end of the cycle until another 60 wash cycles has been completed.

NOTE: "CLE" is only a reminder. Even if customer does not perform a Tub Cleaning cycle, machine can still be used indefinitely. However, customer will continue to see the "CLE" reminder at the end of each cycle until they complete a Tub Cleaning cycle.

• On connected 700 series Electrolux front load washers with serial number up to 50711975 Tub Cleaning cycle is only available through the App which requires customers to connect their machine to the home Wi-Fi network. Customers can then program the App Favourite position on selector dial as "Tub Cleaning" program in order to select this cycle directly on the machine without having to use the App.
• On connected 700 series Electrolux front load washers with serial number 50711975 and above, the App Favourite position on selector dial is assigned to Tub Cleaning program by default from factory. Customers can choose to overwrite this App Favourite position to a different program as they wish however if they do so, the Tub Cleaning cycle will ONLY be available through the App when they see the CLE reminder next time.
