Front Load washing machine inlet hose is leaking

Issue

  • Washing machine inlet hose is leaking

Applies to

  • Front Load Washer
  • Front Load Washer Dryer

Solution

1. Check the following:

  • Inspect the inlet pipe adapter on the wall or water tap
  • Check if there is no leak coming from the tap
  • Make sure that the water inlet hose and the drain hose have no damages.
  • Check inlet hose connection is screwed on and tightened properly.

Ensure the water inlet hose is fitted to a tap with 3/4” BSP thread.

Check the inlet hose rubber washer is in potion and not damaged.

Note: The inlet hose must not be lengthened. If it is too short and you do not wish to move the tap, you will have to purchase a new, longer hose specially designed for this type of use.

Check the inlet hose is fitted correctly to the machine.

Loosen the ring nut to angle the hose to the left or right depending on the position of your water tap. Do not place the inlet hose downwards. After positioning the inlet hose, be sure to tighten the ring nut again to prevent leaks.
