Air Conditioner turns to Fan only sometimes when set to Heating or Cooling
Issue
The air conditioner turns to FAN only mode during COOLING or HEATING mode
Applies to
- Westinghouse Split System Air Conditioner
- Kelvinator Split System Air Conditioner
Solution
When the indoor temperature reaches the set temperature of the air conditioner, the compressor will stop automatically, and the air conditioner turns to FAN only mode.
The compressor will start again when the indoor temperature rises on COOL mode or falls on HEAT mode (For cooling and heating models only).
