Oven Child Lock - Turning On and Off Electrolux

Issue

Solution

1. Press Menu

2. Select: Options

3. Select: Sub Menu > Child Clock

Choose the code letters in the alphabetical order.

Press and hold the pad lock symbol to turn Child lock on or Off

Activating the child-proof lock

When the child lock is engaged, the oven cannot be operated and the door cannot be opened.

1. Switch off the appliance using the function selector switch.

2. Touch and hold the ‘Clock Symbol’ and the ‘C’ buttons at the same time until the word ‘SAFE’ is displayed and a double beep is sounded.

The word SAFE will be replaced by a ‘padlock symbol’ on the display after 5 seconds

Deactivating the child-proof lock

Touch and hold the Clock Symbol and ‘C’ buttons at the same time until a double beep is sounded.

This will commence to unlock the door and after 5 seconds the oven is ready for use

Activating the child-proof lock

When the child lock is engaged, the oven cannot be switched on.

1. Switch on the oven by touching the ‘ON/OFF’ symbol.

2. Select ‘SETTINGS’ from the function list and touch ‘OK’.

3. Select ‘ACTIVATE LOCK’ from the list and touch ‘OK’.

The word ‘LOCKED’ will momentarily appear and a single beep will sound to confirm the operation. The child lock is now engaged.

De-activating the child lock

1. Touch any symbol on the control panel (including the on/off symbol). ‘Locked’ will appear on the display.

2. Touch any symbol again.

The display will instruct you to touch both ‘cook time’ + and - symbols for 2 seconds.

3. Hold until a beep sounds.

The child lock is now released and the oven is ready to use

1. Touch on symbol to activate the display.

2. Touch 'Star symbol' and 'Clock symbol' at the same time until the display shows a message.

To deactivate the Child Lock function repeat step 2.

The word safe will be replaced by a padlock symbol on the display after 5 seconds.

This will commence to unlock the door and after 5 seconds the oven is ready for use.
