• Why does my air quality indicator turn off or dim in the evening?

Solution

The Electrolux range of Air Purifiers have this feature and depending on the model will have one of following modes:

Sleep

In the SLEEP mode unit will operate at the low noise level and all indicators except for SLEEP icon will go off.

Smart Quiet

In the SMART QUIET mode the unit will run as quiet (control panel indicators dimmed & lower fan speed) as possible to allow for sleep.

Smart

In the SMART: The AQI light will turn off completely in a dark room when the unit is in smart mode, so as not to disturb.

• This is normal if you are in a Smart mode the user interface turns off or dims when the room is dark. The air quality indicator switches itself off to save energy when it gets dark in the room and to not disturb you during the night
• If you want to turn it on, you need to switch to manual mode.
