Solution

Vented tumble dryer

1. Open the door.

Pull the filter up.

2. Open apart the filter and peel off or wipe out the lint.

3. If necessary, clean the filter with a vacuum cleaner.

Close the filter.

4. Place the filter back inside the filter socket and ensure that it 'clicks' when refitting.

Note: If you are unable to clean the filter or if is torn or damaged the filter must be replaced immediately.

Heat pump dryer

  • Disconnect the appliance before you clean it.

1. Open the door.

Pull the filter up.

2. Open the condenser cover.

3. Turn the lever to unlock the condenser lid.

4. Lower the condenser lid.

5. If necessary, remove the fluff from the condenser and its compartment.

You can use a wet cloth and/or a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment.

6. Close the condenser lid.

7. Turn the lever until it clicks into position.

8. Put the filter back.

Condenser Dryer

  • Disconnect the appliance before you clean it.

Access to the condenser may slightly differ depending on the dryer model, refer to the user manual supplied with your appliance.

Electrolux user manual

1. Open the condenser cover.

2. Turn 2 levers to unlock the condenser lid.

3. Lower the condenser lid.

4. Catch the handle and pull the condenser out from the bottom compartment.

Move the condenser horizontally to avoid spilling any remaining water.

5. Clean the condenser in a vertical position over a basin.

Rinse through with a hand shower.

6. Put the condenser back inside the bottom compartment.

7. Close the condenser lid.

8. Lock 2 levers until they snap.

9. Close the condenser cover.
